The fence was damaged some years ago by a car accident but was not a major issue for the client. Took a little bit of gardening to get to it but that’s to be expected for a garden fence.

Most of the stones were still attached to the railing so I had to “gently” remove them at the workshop. Once the railings were free, most of the uprights slid out of the main bar with ease, with the odd 2 or 3 had to be ground down to fit back through. They were then straightened out on the anvil.

I then had to collaborate with the stonework company to lay the stones as I put the railings back in, and painted a few days later.

Once again the job was finished to a wonderful standard.
